Scope of the meeting The purpose of The DAE-BRNS 4th National Symposium on Pulsed Laser deposition of Thin Films and Nanostructured materials (PLD-2007) is to bring together the scientists, academicians, engineers and research scholars currently active in the in the field of pulsed laser deposition and related processes. The deliberations of the symposium will include tutorial and review talks by the leading experts, thesis presentations and presentations (oral/poster) by scholars on the growth and properties of thin films and nanostructures of different materials of contemporary and future interest. Some of the classes of these materials are as follows
Semiconductors The submitted abstracts of high quality work will be considered for invited talks. All the accepted abstracts will be published in the form of an abstract book.
Excursion on October 6, 2007 (On payment basis) A trip to Somnath Temple and Diu has been planned on the payment basis. A bus will start from the symposium venue on Oct. 6, 2007 at 10:00 Hrs to visit these places. Payment towards this tour may be made at the time of registration. The interested participants may send their request to convener, organizing committee for the excursion. Fees for the trip: Rs. 500/- which includes meals, travel cost and sight seeing. |
