Technologies under Incubation
During RRCAT foundation day function 2022 three different technologies namely Raman Probe, OncoVision and TuBerculoScope have been transferred to Indian industries. These technologies have application in biomedical field and are useful for artifact free Raman spectra for biological tissues, screening of Tuberculosis and assessment of potentially malignant oral legions.
Details of Technology and Technology Transfer are as follows:
- Raman Probe: A hand-held opto-mechanical module for in-situ measurement of artifact-free Raman spectra from low Raman active materials like biological tissues
Transferred to M/s Research India, Bhopal
- OncoVision: A low-cost, hand-held fluorescence imaging tool for improved visual assessment of malignant and potentially malignant oral lesions
Transferred to M/s Applied Optical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Thane
- TuBerculoScope: A low-cost fluorescence imaging device for sputum smear microscopy for diagnosis of Tuberculosis
