The Free Electron Laser & Utilization Section (FEL&US) in the Material Science and Advanced Technology Group of the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) is engaged in the design and development of Free Electron Lasers, its related sub-systems, and in materials research in the area of magnetism and superconductivity for energy related applications. This includes the utilization of an Infrared Free Electron Laser, which is presently in an advanced stage of commissioning at RRCAT.
