Indore, the capital city of Holkar rulers, is an important industrial city in central India and is known as 'Mini Mumbai'. The city has a number of historical monuments belonging to the Holkars besides being home to a large number of temples. The architecture of many of these monuments is an amalgam of various styles.Indore is about 200 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
