Technologies under Incubation
Incubation for "Design and Development of Liquid Nitrogen based Transportable Refrigeration System for various Tata Motors platforms (3 base vehicles)"
Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) and Tata Motors Limited (TML) have signed an incubation agreement to jointly develop "Sheetal Vahak Yantra (SHIVAY)" technology for vehicular applications. SHIVAY - a new technology of Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) based refrigerated system developed by RRCAT has been incubated with Tata Motors Limited for vehicular applications in three variants of Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV), Intermediate Light Commercial Vehicle (ILCV) and Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (MHCV) to transport fruits and vegetables (F&V), pharmaceuticals and other similar products.
