A distributed data acquisition system, having 80 isolated analog input channels, 16-bit resolution, and synchronous data sampling rate of 10 ksps is installed and deployed. This system is used as a diagnostic tool and acquires reference and read-back signals from magnet power supplies, RF systems and beam current signal, with an aim to detect fast changes that could affect the machine operation. A software for visualization and data retrieval to a host PC has been developed. The system generates and stores the data based on events related to partial beam loss, beam kill, or on trip of the associated devices.
