VLSI Based Developments
Taking advantage of the rapidly growing field of VLSI design, expertise and development environment is evolved to carry out FPGA & CPLD based hardware projects in Accelerator Control Section. VLSI lab environment with synthesis, simulation, P&R process and FPGA implementation tools, is set up to undertake new hardware projects as well as up-gradation of existing systems. Following FPGA & CPLD based developments are done in-house for Indus-2 control system:

In addition to VLSI design, Accelerator Control Section is also equipped with expertise to undertake challenging jobs in the field of digital signal processing (DSP).
