Machine Maintenance

In workshop there are various types of machines in operation as described earlier on this web page. The total numbers of machines are more than 50. In addition to the above stated machines there are five EOT cranes and few numbers of screw type air compressors with driers in constant operation to supply clean and dry air in five different buildings of workshop. For the maintenance of these machines, this group provides support from the initial installation to safe & smooth running of machines with minimum down time.
Mechanical & electrical preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, condition based maintenance, periodical leveling, geometrical and alignment test of machine tool and equipment’s, inventory of spares & consumables are also carried out by this group.
The team consists of 8 members including Engineers and skilled technicians

Vehicle Maintenance

There are 28 nos. of departmental two wheelers and four wheelers operational in our centre. The maintenance work of the vehicles is carried out by company authorized garages in the city. Regular checking of the vehicles for its road worthiness is carried out.
