Solid state modular crowbarless 36 kV, 24 A DC power supply for RF amplifier

A solid state modular crowbarless 36 kV, 24 A DC power supply is designed and developed to bias sensitive high power RF amplifiers, based on which a US patent has been received by RF Power Supplies Laboratory, RFSD. This power supply achieves output voltage stability ≤ 0.4%, output ripple ≤ 0.25%, efficiency ≥ 94%,output stored energy < 10 Joule, current THD ≤ 6%, voltage THD ≤ 0.8% and input power factor ≥ 0.97.
