Processing and testing of SCRF Cavities
1.3 GHz Multi cell SCRF cavities
The few single-cell and one nine-cell 1.3 GHz SCRF cavity has been processed and tuned using the facility developed at RRCAT.
Electropolishing of Nine-cell 1.3 GHz SRF cavity
650 MHz SCRF cavities
Single-cell 650 MHz cavity processed and tested at RRCAT
Few single-cell 650 MHz (Beta=0.92) superconducting cavities fabricated at RRCAT were processed and tested using the facilities developed at RRCAT. The cavity was barrel polished, electropolished, high temperature annealed, high pressure rinsed and baked at 120°C for 48 hours before being assembled in cleanroom and tested at 2 K in VTS facility.

Few five-cell 650 MHz cavity processed and tested at RRCAT
The first five-cell 650 MHz SCRF cavity fabricated at RRCAT was processed and tested using the in-house facilities developed. This five-cell cavity was electropolished, annealed at 800°C, high pressure rinsed, baked at l20°C and tested at 2 K in vertical test facility. The VTS test was be carried out using the indigenously designed and developed 650 MHz low level RF system and 500 W solid state amplifier. The cavity developed at RRCAT has achieved an accelerating gradient up to 29 MV/m with low field quality factor of 5e 10.
